FKCCI Industry-Institution Leaders' Confluence 2026 is a focused one-day event designed to bring together Industry Leaders and Higher Education Institutions, Sector Skill Councils, Consulates, Trade Consuls, Global Network of Chambers of Commerce, Policymakers, HR Leaders & Skill Centers on a single platform to strengthen Industry-Institution collaboration and create sustainable talent pipelines through skilling, internships, apprenticeships, placements, curriculum alignment, research, international mobility pathways and beyond.
Guided by the visionary leadership of Dr. Sharanaprakash Patil, Honorable Minister for Medical Education, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship & Livelihood, GoK, the FKCCI Industry–Institution Leaders' Confluence 2026 is led by Ms. Uma Reddy, President - FKCCI & Ms. Tejashree, Chairperson - Skill Development Committee with a shared vision of strengthening Industry – Institution collaboration.
Founded in 1916 by Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, FKCCI is Karnataka's apex industry body with a distinguished legacy of over 110 years.
FKCCI serves as the voice of industry, advocating policy reforms and fostering constructive engagement between industry and government. Representing the interests of the industry, trade and services sectors through an extensive network of businesses, district chambers and industry associations. Today, FKCCI proudly represents over 4,500 direct members and about 200 affiliated trade & industry associations.
Exploring the role and reach of Sector Skill Councils in higher education and identifying opportunities for industry–institution collaboration in skilling and workforce development.
Explore emerging international career opportunities and mobility pathways through insights shared by consulates representing various countries, highlighting in-demand skills, employment trends and global workforce requirements.
Structured one-on-one and group interactions among industry leaders, educational institutions and Sector Skill Councils to explore partnerships in internships, placements, skilling, curriculum enrichment, faculty immersion and industry engagement.
